In May 2000, the Oifig Fáilte, tourist information point
was established at Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich. The
project was initially funded by the Belfast European Partnership
Board using peace initiative money and is now maintained by Belfast
Regeneration Office.
Oifig Fáilte offers a bilingual service to its visitors.
This includes helping to arrange accommodation, providing information
on the local area, on places of interest in the North of Ireland
and on events around the city. The information Point also provides
passport forms and sells international phone cards and stamps.
